* Prayer of 5 “all”: In dangerous times, pray all the time. All round prayer can be audible or silent but the important thing is to rely on God with all your heart. All the saints on alert all the time as a prayerful church!

* The story of a group of pure and upright children (v1-21) and self-sacrificing and honest husbands and wives (v22-33). Their conduct reveals the glorious church to the world.

* Last week a group of friends were baptized and a young sister witnessed before they went into the water – her cousin, who was of the same age, was seriously ill and still shared the salvation of Christ with her. She was moved to accept the Lord and was officially baptized a few years later. She said that her cousin was a grain of wheat that fell into the ground and bore life!

Avoid three kinds of speeches: lies (4:25), corrupt words (4:29), and evil speaking (4:31). Such speeches will destroy the church of God. Don’t do harm to what has been built up by God!

* Various Bible versions translate “心裡” as “inner man” (as in King James Version) ! All who are born again and saved by God have this “inner man” in them. The first prayer item for the glorious church will then be the “inner man” be strengthened!
