The Messiah’s Test
1. His submission — Though He was the Son of God, He took upon the position of a human, submitting to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, accepting God’s trials. (v1)
2. His faithfulness — Jesus adhered to His human identity, using his reliance and faithfulness to God to overcome the temptation of the devil. (v3-11)

* Juan’s Treasure (Cantonese): Juan Zhu/朱新旺 was ‘cowboy worker’ in Panama, meaning he had to work without pay for the first 3 years as fee to land as a worker in Panama. He vowed to make a name for himself; not only did things work out, God also let him discover and keep a “treasure”.
