The Empty Grave
1. Dawn — The loving-kindness in the women was rewarded. The Lord of Resurrection appeared to them, commissioning them to go and spread the news of His resurrection. (v9-10)
2. Mission — The Lord of Resurrection sent His disciples to conquer the world with gospel, accompanying them with His promise of His presence “Immanuel”. (v20)

* Stephen CW CHAN/ 陳志雲former General Manager of TVB was baptized in a Catholic church at his lower secondary school years. During the time when caught in a lawsuit, he put his trust in fengshui pursuit. A pastor felt leading at heart and asked a friend to introduce him to visit Stephen. They spent time reading the Bible, praying together and suggested that he should abolish the idols at home and office. He did not agree immediately and discussed with his helper instead. The helper shared that if he felt peace at heart to do so, why not! Stephen did pray about it and felt comfortable with discarding the idols. He later made the choice of following Christ. He will soon take part in a gospel meeting to sing praises to God!

* from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the tent of meeting,… were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore. (Numbers 4:47-48)
Numbers 3-4: The Levites were set apart and given the responsibility to erect, dismantle and transport the Tabernacle. They were seemingly trivial chores but in fact were great missions because serving in the Tabernacle, no matter what tasks, were top jobs of great glory!
