1. Process of His Death — Son of God was beaten, mocked, nailed by soldiers, despised by His fellow citizens and in the end forsaken by God, suffering to the ultimate. (v46)
2. Scene of His Death — The land became all dark, the veil was torn open, the earth was shaking…. Both the natural and super natural scenes testify strongly the fact that Jesus is Son of God. (v45)

Leviticus 26-27: With children of God captivated, the land could enjoy the rest and peace. Note that children of God can never enjoy spiritual peace when outside of His land.
