The Wealthy Man Who Was Almost Saved! – One Small Step Away!
1. Virtues in the Wealthy Man — The wealthy man came to seek the way of life because he realized that it was not enough just to be seen as good on the outward acts. He was doing his best to be perfect. (v20)
2. Perfection in Lord Jesus — The way of eternal life calls for more than being virtuous. It calls for perfection – sell what we have, give to the poor and follow the Lord! (v21)

* Singer Eric WOO/巫啟賢was known for his famous song “A Love Song That Breaks Ones Heart” /心酸的情歌. His daughter fell into a coma for no reason when she was 6 months old. Eric was at the time in Beijing and stranded in HK Airport due to a storm, hindering him from returning to Taipei soon enough. In such emergency, his partner, a Christian, prayed for the baby girl and preached the gospel to Eric. His wife, in Taipei, was also comforted by the intercession of a few sisters. Miraculously, the baby woke from the coma. Everyone, including the doctor was amazed. Eric and wife, his younger brother Allen WOO/巫奇 and parents all turned to the Lord together! Eric’s heart was mended! A smoker for 20 years, he was liberated from the bad habit through prayer!
