Jesus used banquets 9 times to allude to the gospel – delicious and rich!
1. Watchful servants; being part of the Kingdom; not delighting in prestige (Luke 12-14）
2. Not asking for repayment; a large banquet (Luke14); a prince’s banquet (Matthew 22); welcoming the wandering son (Luke 15)
3. Sharing glory with the Lord (Luke 22); sitting with the Lord on the throne (Revelation 3)
