In God’s Grace, Rowing Against The Wind:
1. The Lord feeds us with the bread of life so we can spread His richness to all corners (v34-44)
2. Against the wind, straining at the oars, deep into the night, when the Lord takes action, why do we need to fear! (v45-56)
* Email from Maine: I’m in Stonington, Maine, which is the largest fishing port on Deer Isle and largest lobster producing area in the US. Fishing license is difficult to obtain, hence the income is attractive. Unfortunately, many are alcoholic and drug addicts, spending all their money and have broken families. Once I preached the gospel to four young fishermen at Stonington Wharf. They smoked and drank non-stop, spoke foul language and one professed to worship Buddha. I hope I can talk to them about the Lord’s way again. It’s -10 degrees here but the Lord’s love is fervent! ~James
