For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ (v.4a)
* “Honor” in ancient Greek refers to value ascribed to a person. Fathers and mothers are ordinary people, who have weaknesses; when they grow old, how will we view them? How we honor our parents oftentimes reflects the reality of our spiritual lives. Friends, you who are busy with your lives, do not forget to take care of your loved ones and their lives!
