Extraordinary Situation, Extraordinary Magnitude! – Sunday Hope 30/01/2022 Matthew 16a
…on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. (v18)
1. The foundation of the church – this “rock” is the correct understanding and revelation of Christ
2. The Lord’s resurrected life builds the church, prevails against Hades and save His people from their sins.
3. The Lord’s life sustains the church, it has not stopped growing over the centuries testifying “the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
