While He was in Bethany at the home of Simon the Leper, He was reclining at the table, and a woman came with an alabaster vial of very expensive perfume of pure nard. She broke the vial and poured the perfume over His head. (v43)
* This longest chapter in the Gospel of Mark tells of a touching story of a woman who broke a wedding vase and poured it over Jesus’ head in a time of great darkness – at the time of greatest need of our gracious Lord and God’s family. Today what are we offering?
* The wonders of God’s creation can be seen in genetic inheritance. A chromosome contains 20 billion units of information, the equivalent of 4,000 books. The arrangement and operation of the genes is known only to the Creator!
